The thirteenth Manu will be named Deva-sāvarṇi, greatly advanced in spiritual knowledge. Among his sons will be Citrasena and Vicitra, and others.
Deva-sāvarṇi is described here as the future thirteenth Manu, a self-controlled ruler of a manvantara, with sons such as Citrasena and Vicitra.
In this chapter Śukadeva explains the structure of manvantaras—successive eras ruled by different Manus—so Parīkṣit can understand how the Lord’s governance and dharma continue through cosmic time.
It helps a devotee see history and destiny through the lens of dharma and divine order, cultivating steadiness, humility, and faith in the Lord’s long-term plan beyond one lifetime.
