घृतं ते अग्ने दिव्ये सधस्थे घृतेन त्वां मनुरद्या समिन्धे । घृतं ते देवीर्नप्त्य१आ वहन्तु घृतं तुभ्यं दुह्रतां गावो अग्ने

IAST Transliteration

ghṛtáṃ te agne divyé sadhásthe ghṛténa tvā́ṃ mánur adyá sáṃ-indhe | ghṛtáṃ te devī́r náptyo ā́ vahantu ghṛtáṃ túbhyaṃ duhratā́ṃ gā́vo agne

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Ghee is for thee, O Agni, in thy heavenly seat; with ghee doth Manu kindle thee this day. Let the divine maidens, the descendants, bring thee ghee; let the cows, O Agni, milk forth ghee for thee.
