Sukta 15
अभि क्रन्द स्तनयार्दयोदधिं भूमिं पर्जन्य पयसा समङ्धि । त्वया सृष्टं बहुलमैतु वर्षमाशारैषी कृशगुरेत्वस्तम्
abhí kranda stanáyā́rdayódadhim bhū́miṃ parjanya páyasā́ sám aṅdhi | tváyā sṛṣṭáṃ bahulám etu várṣam āśā-reṣī́ kṛśá-gure íd vástam ||
Roar forth; thunder; smite the watery mass: with milk-like moisture, O Parjanya, bedew the Earth full. Let the abundant rain, sent forth by thee, come—unto the dwelling, even where hope is worn away, unto the lean and the heavy-laden.
