अव द्रप्सो अंशुमतीमतिष्ठदियानः कृष्णो दशभिः सहस्रैः । आवत्तमिन्द्रः शच्या धमन्तमपस्नेहितीर्नृमणा अधत्त
áva drapso aṃśumátīm atiṣṭhad iyānáḥ kṛṣṇó daśábhiḥ sahásraiḥ | āvattám índraḥ śácyā dhámantam apásnehitīr nṛmáṇā adhatta
Downward the drop took station in the radiant stream, moving, dark, with tenfold thousands. Indra, with his might, established it as it rolled and was driven on—cleansing away adhesions—delighting men.
