Sukta 137
द्रप्समपश्यं विषुणे चरन्तमुपह्वरे नद्यो अंशुमत्याः । नभो न कृष्णमवतस्थिवांसमिष्यामि वो वृषणो युध्यताजौ
drapsám apaśyaṃ víṣuṇe cárantam upahvaré nádyo aṃśumátyāḥ | nábho ná kṛṣṇám avatásthivāṃsam íṣyāmi vo vṛṣaṇo yúdhyatā ājáu
I saw the drop, moving apart in manifold wise, in the hollow, the streams of the radiant one; like a dark cloud it had settled down. I urge you on, O Bulls, as ye fight in the fray.
Rishi: Rigvedic Soma/Indra(-Marut) tradition (as transmitted in AV 20).
Devata: Indra and/or Maruts (vṛṣaṇaḥ as strong ones), with Soma as empowering medium
