Sukta 46
ūrdhvás tiṣṭhatu rákṣann ápramādam astṛ́te máṃ tvā dabhān paṇáyo yātudhā́nāḥ | índra ivá dasyū́n áva dhūnuṣva pṛtanyatáḥ sárvāñ chátrūn ví ṣahasvāstṛ́tas tvā́bhi rakṣatu
Stand thou upright, guarding, vigilant, O Astṛta: let not the Paṇis, let not the Yātudhānas overreach me. Like Indra, shake down the Dasyus; from the battling ones shake off all enemies; prevail asunder: may Astṛta guard thee round about.
Rishi: Atharvanic amulet tradition
Devata: Astṛta-maṇi (with Indra as paradigmatic comparator)
Chandas: Jagatī-like expansion / mixed (longer pādas; not strict RV strophic regularity)
