Sukta 9
इयं या परमेष्ठिनी वाग् देवी ब्रह्मसंशिता । ययैव ससृजे घोरं तयैव शान्तिरस्तु नः
iyáṃ yā parameṣṭhínī vā́g devī́ bráhma-saṃśitā | yayáivá sasṛjé ghóram táyaivá śā́ntir astu naḥ
This—she who is supreme—Speech, the Goddess compacted with brahman: by her indeed the dreadful was sent forth; by that same power let peace be ours.
