Sukta 4
प्र वा एतीन्दुरिन्द्रस्य निष्कृतिं सखा सख्युर्न प्र मिनाति संगिरः । मर्य इव योषाः समर्षसे सोमः कलशे शतयामना पथा
prá vá etī́ndúr índrasya níṣkṛtiṃ sákhā sákhyor ná prá mināti saṅgiráḥ | márya ivá yóṣāḥ sám arṣase sómaḥ kaláśe śatá-yāmanā pathā́
Forth verily goes Indu to Indra’s outlet and release: a friend, he mars not the friend’s bond, the singer. Like a young man unto maidens thou rushest together; Soma, into the jar, by a path of hundred courses.
Rishi: Soma-hymn register; specific AV 18 attribution varies
Devata: Soma (Indu) with Indra as recipient
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like (RV-style Soma verse)
