Sukta 2
येदं पूर्वागन् रशनायमाना प्रजामस्यै द्रविणं चेह दत्त्वा। तां वहन्त्वगतस्यानु पन्थां विराडियं सुप्रजा अत्यजैषीत्
yé́daṃ pū́rvāgan raśanā́yamānāḥ prajā́m asyái dráviṇaṃ cehá dátvā | tā́ṃ vahantv ágatasyā́nu pánthāṃ virā́ḍ iyáṃ su-prajā́ áty ajaiṣīt
They who went before in this, girt with the cord, having here bestowed on her offspring and wealth—let them lead her along the path of him who hath gone before: this Virāj, rich in good progeny, hath won the victory.
