Sukta 2
सं पितरावृत्विये सृजेथां माता पिता च रेतसो भवाथः । मर्य इव योषामधिरोहयैनां प्रजां कृण्वाथामिह पुष्यतं रयिम्
sáṃ pitarāv ṛ́tvīye sṛjethāṃ mātā́ pitā́ ca rétaso bhavāthaḥ | márya iva yóṣām ádhīrohayaínāṃ prajā́ṃ kṛṇvāthām ihá púṣyataṃ rayím
Together, in due season, let the two parents send forth; mother and father, be ye possessed of seed. As a young man upon a young wife mount thou her: beget ye offspring here, and nourish ye wealth to thrive.

Devata: Fertility/Progeny (Prajā) and Ṛtu (right season) as operative principles; addressed to the couple.
