Sukta 2

वि तिष्ठन्तां मातुरस्या उपस्थान्नानारूपाः पशवो जायमानाः । सुमङ्गल्युप सीदेममग्निं संपत्नी प्रति भूषेह देवान्

ví tiṣṭhantāṃ mātúr asyā́ úpasthān nā́nārūpāḥ paśávo jā́yamānāḥ | sumáṅgaly úpa sīda imám agním sámpatnī práti bhūṣehá devā́n ||

Forth from this mother’s lap let cattle, manifold in form, stand up—still being born. O auspicious wife, sit thou down beside this Agni; as true consort do thou here do honor unto the Gods.
