That moon of thine, O Kaśyapa, radiant; that well-compacted, abundant, bright-flamed (orb), wherein the seven suns are set together—of that God. This is the offence against that wrathful God, whoso thus wrongs a knowing Brahmin. Make him quake, O Rohita; waste him away; against the Brahmin-hurter loose back the nooses.
Rishi: Kaśyapa is addressed; seer attribution requires anukramaṇī confirmation.
Devata: Kaśyapa-associated luminary/cosmic regulator; Rohita addressed as punitive agent.
Chandas: To be confirmed by scan.
