Sukta 5
क्षुरपविर्मृत्युर्भूत्वा वि धाव त्वम्
kṣurapavír mṛtyúr bhūtvā́ ví dhāva tvám
Razor-edged, become thou Death, and rush forth, scattering (the foe).
Rishi: Atharvanic/Angirasa tradition (hymn-level attribution varies by Anukramaṇī)
Devata: Mṛtyu (Death) as a weaponized personification; also the mantra’s ‘edge’ (pavi)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; requires full hymn metrical check)
{"primary_rasa":"raudra","secondary_rasa":"bhayankara","emotional_arc":"Forging the edge → animation into Death → sudden outward rush → dispersal of threat.","listener_experience":"Adrenalized protection; sense of immediate counterattack.","intensity":9}
