उदीचीनैः पथिभिर्वायुमद्भिरतिक्रामन्तोऽवरान् परेभिः । त्रिः सप्त कृत्व ऋषयः परेता मृत्युं प्रत्यौहन् पदयोपनेन
udīcī́naiḥ pathíbhiḥ vāyumádbhir atikrā́manto ’várān parébhíḥ | tríḥ saptá kṛtvá ṛ́ṣayaḥ parétā mṛtyúṁ práty auhan padayópanena
By northward paths, by ways possessed of wind, overstepping the lower by the higher, the Seers, having gone beyond, after doing it thrice seven times, smote back Death by the rite of foot-leading.
