The subsidiary invocation, the Vishūvant rite, and whatsoever sacrifices are laid away in secret—Ucchiṣṭa, the Upholder of the All, beareth them: he is the Father of the Begetter.
Rishi: Traditionally Atharvanic seers (Ucchiṣṭa-hymn complex; r̥ṣi attribution varies in ancillary lists)
Devata: Ucchiṣṭa (personified Remnant/Residue as cosmic principle)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like cadence (mixed/irregular in this hymn section; often treated as triṣṭubh in practice)
