पणितस्तस्यापकारसमर्थो विक्रमेत अन्यथा संदध्यात् ॥ कZ_०७.७.२८ ॥
paṇitastasyāpakārasamartho vikrameta anyathā saṃdadhyāt
After bargaining, if he can effectively harm him, he should act vigorously; otherwise, he should conclude a settlement.
It functions as a doctrinal checkpoint: after inducements, action is justified only when capacity makes harm feasible; otherwise, formal settlement is rational.
