परवस्त्रविक्रयावक्रयाधानेषु च द्वादशपणो दण्डः परिवर्तने मूल्यद्विगुणो वस्त्रदानं च ॥ कZ_०४.१.१७ ॥
Transliteration
paravastravikrayāvakrayādhāneṣu ca dvādaśapaṇo daṇḍaḥ parivartane mūlyadviguṇo vastradānaṃ ca
Translation
For selling, buying, or pledging another person’s cloth, the fine is twelve paṇas. For substitution, the penalty is twice the value, and the (original) cloth must be restored/handed over.
