Sutra 2

तेषामूर्ध्वं पितृतो दायविभागः पितृद्रव्याणाम् ॥ कZ_०३.५.०२ ॥

teṣām ūrdhvaṃ pitṛto dāyavibhāgaḥ pitṛdravyāṇām

Only after that (i.e., after the father’s end/cessation of authority) is there division of inheritance from the father—of the father’s property.
