सोदर्याणामनेकपितृकाणां पितृतो दायविभागः ॥ कZ_०३.५.१४ ॥
sodaryāṇām anekapitṛkāṇāṃ pitṛto dāyavibhāgaḥ
Among uterine siblings who have different fathers, inheritance is to be partitioned according to the respective fathers’ estates.
Their inheritance is divided with reference to each father’s property—each set of children succeeds to its own father’s estate.
It prevents intermingling of estates across paternal lines and reduces litigation by fixing a clear basis for partition.
