Marital Fidelity and Ethical Devotion
वर्त्तमानापि विप्रेन्द्र प्रत्याख्यातापि वा सदा ॥ न दैवतं सम्प्रयाति पत्युर्न्यं कदाचन ॥
varttamānāpi viprendra pratyākhyātāpi vā sadā || na daivataṃ samprayāti patyuranyaṃ kadācana ||
O Bester der Brahmanen: Selbst wenn sie getrennt von ihm lebt oder fortwährend zurückgewiesen wird, wendet sie sich niemals, zu keiner Zeit, an eine andere „Gottheit“ als an ihren Gatten.
