छत्रप्रदानेन गृहं वरिष्ठं रथं ह्युपानद्युगसम्प्रदानात् ॥ वस्त्रप्रदानेन सुरूपता च धनैश्च पुत्रैश्च भृताः भवन्ति ॥
chatrapradānena gṛhaṃ variṣṭhaṃ rathaṃ hy upānadyugasampradānāt | vastrapradānena surūpatā ca dhanaiś ca putraiś ca bhṛtā bhavanti ||
Durch die Gabe eines Schirms erlangt man ein vortreffliches Haus; durch die Spende eines Schuhpaares erlangt man einen Wagen. Durch die Gabe von Gewändern gewinnt man Schönheit der Gestalt; und man wird von Reichtum und Söhnen getragen.
