Varaha Purana 202.71 — Adhyaya 202, Shloka 71

Description of Infernal Punishments and the Ripening of Karmic Consequences

पापस्य सुकृतस्याथ प्रजानां विनिपातने ॥ भूतानां चाप्यसम्मानं दुष्प्रहारश्च सर्वशः

pāpasya sukṛtasyātha prajānāṃ vinipātane || bhūtānāṃ cāpy asammānaṃ duṣprahāraś ca sarvaśaḥ

Und so zeigt sich im Niedergang der Geschöpfe die (vermischte) Frucht von Sünde und Verdienst; zudem gibt es Entehrung gegenüber den Wesen und grausame Verletzung überall.
