The Battle between the Rākṣasas and Yama’s Attendant-Messengers

ततस्ते विविधाकाराः राक्षसाः पिशिताशनाः ॥ उपरुह्य तथा सर्वे मातङ्गांश्च हयं तथा ॥

tatas te vividhākārā rākṣasāḥ piśitāśanāḥ || uparuhya tathā sarve mātaṅgāṃś ca hayaṃ tathā ||

Daraufhin bestiegen jene fleischfressenden Rakshasas von mannigfaltiger Gestalt allesamt Elefanten und ebenso Pferde.
