Varaha Purana 145.16 — Adhyaya 145, Shloka 16

The Greatness of the Śālagrāma Sacred Region

एवमुक्तः स तु मया सालङ्कायनको मुनिः ।। सालवृक्षं समाश्रित्य निभृतेनान्तरात्मना ।।

evam uktaḥ sa tu mayā sālaṅkāyanako muniḥ || sālavṛkṣaṃ samāśritya nibhṛtenāntarātmanā ||

So von mir angesprochen, nahm der Weise Sālaṅkāyana Zuflucht bei einem Śāla-Baum und wurde innerlich gesammelt, den Geist gezügelt.
