इत्येवं कृपया देवो निश्चित्य मनसा स्वयम्॥ गण्डकीमवदत्प्रीतः शृणु देवि वचो मम॥
ityevaṁ kṛpayā devo niścitya manasā svayam || gaṇḍakīm avadat prītaḥ śṛṇu devi vaco mama ||
So fasste der Gott aus Mitgefühl in seinem eigenen Geist den Entschluss und sprach erfreut zu Gaṇḍakī: „Höre, o Devī, meine Worte.“
