ऋतुकाले तु सर्वासां पित्रर्थं भोग इष्यते ॥ ऋतुकालाभिगामी यो ब्रह्मचार्येव संमतः
ṛtukāle tu sarvāsāṃ pitrarthaṃ bhoga iṣyate || ṛtukālābhigāmī yo brahmacāryeva saṃmataḥ
Zur Zeit der Fruchtbarkeit (ṛtukāla) gilt die eheliche Vereinigung für alle als erlaubt, um der Ahnen willen, das heißt zur Fortführung von Geschlecht und ritueller Kontinuität. Wer sich dem ehelichen Verkehr nur zur rechten Zeit nähert, wird in der Disziplin einem Brahmacārin gleichgeachtet.
