Varaha Purana 138.51 — Adhyaya 138, Shloka 51

The Episode of the Khañjarīṭa Bird

and the Saukarava Tīrtha’s Merit

गमने कृतसंकल्पौ ततः सौकरवं प्रति ॥ सर्वद्रव्यसमायुक्तौ गतौ सौकरवं प्रति

gamane kṛtasaṃkalpau tataḥ saukaravaṃ prati || sarvadravyasamāyuktau gatau saukaravaṃ prati

Nachdem sie den Entschluss zur Reise gefasst hatten, brachen sie daraufhin nach Saukarava auf. Mit allen notwendigen Vorräten und Mitteln ausgestattet, zogen sie nach Saukarava.
