देवि भूत्वा गजो मत्तस्तिष्ठत्येकं नरो भुवि ॥ उष्ट्रश्चैकं भवेञ्जन्म जन्म चैकं वृकस्तथा
devi bhūtvā gajo mattas tiṣṭhaty ekaṃ naro bhuvi || uṣṭraś caikaṃ bhavej janma janma caikaṃ vṛkas tathā
O Devi, nachdem er zu einem brünstigen Elefanten geworden ist, verweilt der Mensch auf Erden für eine einzige Geburt. Für eine Geburt wird er ein Kamel, und für eine weitere ebenso ein Wolf.
