The Genealogy of the Pitṛs and the Determination of Śrāddha Times

तं दृष्ट्वाऽभ्यागतं दूरादर्घपाद्येन सो मुनिः । अर्चयामास तं भक्त्या मुदा परमया युतः ॥ १३.६ ॥

taṃ dṛṣṭvā ’bhyāgataṃ dūrād arghapādyena sa muniḥ | arcayāmāsa taṃ bhaktyā mudā paramayā yutaḥ || 13.6 ||

Als er ihn aus der Ferne herankommen sah, erwies der Weise ihm Ehre mit der Darbringung von Arghya und Wasser zum Waschen der Füße und verehrte ihn in Hingabe, erfüllt von höchster Freude.
