मम पुत्रो गुणैर्युक्तः सर्वसास्त्रविशारदः उद्ब्द्धः कपिना राजन् विषयानते तवैव हि

mama putro guṇairyuktaḥ sarvasāstraviśāradaḥ udbddhaḥ kapinā rājan viṣayānate tavaiva hi

„Mein Sohn, mit Tugenden begabt und in allen Śāstras bewandert, ist von einem Affen ergriffen/gefesselt worden, o König — und zwar wahrlich im Grenzgebiet deines eigenen Reiches.“
