अयोध्यानगरे गत्वा करिष्ये तप उत्तमम् । गुप्तो भूत्वा भवत्तेजोविवृद्ध्यै दैत्यशान्तये

ayodhyānagare gatvā kariṣye tapa uttamam | gupto bhūtvā bhavattejovivṛddhyai daityaśāntaye

Ich werde in die Stadt Ayodhyā gehen und die höchste Askese, Tapas, vollziehen. Verborgen bleibend tue ich dies, um euren göttlichen Glanz zu mehren und die Daityas zu befrieden (zu bezwingen).
