Transliteration

tatra pūrvaṃ munivaro lomaśo nāma nāmataḥ | tīrthayātrāprasaṃgena snānaṃ cakre vidhānataḥ

Translation

Einst war dort ein großer Weiser, dem Namen nach Lomaśa bekannt. Anlässlich einer Pilgerfahrt zu den Tīrthas vollzog er das rituelle Bad nach rechter Vorschrift.
