श्वेतवस्त्रा जले स्नात्वा ददाहात्मानमात्मना । याचितस्तु शिवो भर्त्ता पुनर्जन्मांतरे तया
śvetavastrā jale snātvā dadāhātmānamātmanā | yācitastu śivo bharttā punarjanmāṃtare tayā
In weiße Gewänder gekleidet, badete sie im Wasser und übergab aus eigenem Entschluss ihren Leib dem Feuer. Danach, in einer anderen Geburt, erbat sie Śiva zum Gemahl.
