Transliteration

varṣeṣṭame tu saṃprāpte pariṇītā dvijanmanā | tasminneva gṛhe sarpo madīye vasate nṛpa

Translation

Als das achte Jahr gekommen war, wurde ich einem Dvija, einem „Zweimalgeborenen“, vermählt. In eben diesem Haus, o König, wohnte die Schlange — ja, in meiner eigenen Behausung.
