ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि मंगलात्पश्चिमे स्थितम् । गंगास्रोतस्तथा लिंगं सुरार्कं च विशेषतः
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi maṃgalātpaścime sthitam | gaṃgāsrotastathā liṃgaṃ surārkaṃ ca viśeṣataḥ
Īśvara sprach: Dann, o Große Göttin, soll man zu dem gehen, was westlich von Maṅgala liegt—insbesondere zum Stromlauf der Gaṅgā und zum Liṅga namens Surārka.
