Type: kshetra
Scene: The fasting ascetic sits with arms arranged in meditative composure, eyes slightly closed; a subtle depiction of the mind’s restlessness being gathered and fixed into the heart-lotus.
True tapas requires mastery over appetite and anger, and the deliberate training of the restless mind into inner steadiness.
The austerity is performed in Vastrāpatha Mahākṣetra within Prabhāsa, presented as an ideal setting for deep meditation.
Fasting (nirāhāra), anger-restraint, half-closed eyes, stable posture, and heart-centered mental fixation for meditation.
