पीतावशेषममृतं कस्माद्यच्छंति देवताः । नास्माकमिति संनह्य युध्यन्ते च परस्परम्
pītāvaśeṣamamṛtaṃ kasmādyacchaṃti devatāḥ | nāsmākamiti saṃnahya yudhyante ca parasparam
„Warum geben die Götter nur das übriggebliebene amṛta, nachdem sie selbst getrunken haben?“ — mit dem Gedanken „nicht für uns“ rüsten sie sich und kämpfen gegeneinander.
