kvacidvaṃśāgninā śāṃte kvacitpuṣpitapādape | gaganāsaktaviṭape sūryatāpavivarjite

Translation

Mancherorts war es still, die Bambusfeuer waren erloschen; andernorts standen Bäume in Blüte—Zweige, als berührten sie den Himmel—frei von der sengenden Sonnenhitze.
