Transliteration

surāṣṭradeśe vikhyātaṃ yugādau prathamaṃ sthitam | bhūdharaṃ bhūdharairyuktaṃ śilāpādapamaṃḍitam

Translation

Im Lande Surāṣṭra weithin gerühmt, seit dem Anbeginn des Zeitalters gegründet, ist es ein mächtiger Bergstock, von weiteren Gebirgszügen begleitet, geschmückt mit Felsen und Bäumen.
