The sages (Śaunaka and others)
Tirtha: Skanda Mahāpurāṇa śravaṇa (as mānasa-tīrtha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Sūta
Scene: Sages with radiant faces and folded hands, eyes moist with joy, praising the Sūta whose mouth is likened to a lotus; palm-leaf manuscript and garlands suggest completion of a long recitation.
Hearing sacred narration with faith brings inner fulfillment and auspiciousness.
Indirectly supports Dvārakā Māhātmya by praising the act of hearing Skanda Purāṇa in that sacred narrative context.
Śravaṇa (listening) to the Skanda Mahāpurāṇa is upheld as a meritorious practice.
