त्राहित्राहि जयंत त्वं वदंतो हि भयातुराः । स्मरंतः पूर्वपापं ते जयंतेन प्रताडिताः
trāhitrāhi jayaṃta tvaṃ vadaṃto hi bhayāturāḥ | smaraṃtaḥ pūrvapāpaṃ te jayaṃtena pratāḍitāḥ
Von Furcht gepeinigt, riefen sie immerzu: „Rette uns, rette uns, o Jayanta!“ Ihrer früheren Sünden eingedenk, wurden sie von Jayanta immer wieder geschlagen.
