पक्षीन्द्र पापपुरुषा न हरिं भजंति तद्भक्तिशास्त्रनिरता न कलौ भवंति । कुर्वंति मूढमनसो दशमीविमिश्रामेकादशीं शुभदिनं च परित्यजंति

pakṣīndra pāpapuruṣā na hariṃ bhajaṃti tadbhaktiśāstraniratā na kalau bhavaṃti | kurvaṃti mūḍhamanaso daśamīvimiśrāmekādaśīṃ śubhadinaṃ ca parityajaṃti

O Herr der Vögel, sündige Menschen verehren Hari nicht, und im Kali-Yuga sind sie auch nicht den Schriften Seiner Bhakti zugetan. Mit verblendetem Sinn verunreinigen sie Ekādaśī, indem sie sie mit Daśamī vermengen, und sie verlassen jenen glückverheißenden Tag.
