उवाच यदि तुष्टोऽसि यदि देयो वरो मम । गर्त्तेयं मम नाम्ना तु ख्यातिं गच्छतु केशव
uvāca yadi tuṣṭo'si yadi deyo varo mama | gartteyaṃ mama nāmnā tu khyātiṃ gacchatu keśava
Er sprach: „Wenn Du zufrieden bist, wenn mir ein Segen gewährt werden kann, o Keśava, so möge diese Grube/dieser Brunnen unter meinem Namen berühmt werden.“
