Pulastya
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (pradakṣiṇā-māhātmya)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Pilgrims circumambulate a Śiva shrine; at the end of the circuit a devotee bows fully, hands extended; footprints along the path glow symbolically as sins fall away at each step.
Humble devotion expressed through pradakṣiṇā and praṇāma purifies the devotee, removing sin step by step.
Acaleśvara tīrtha, where circumambulation is declared especially purifying.
Perform pradakṣiṇā and offer praṇāma at its completion (and the act is praised as purifying at every step).
