Transliteration

tato devaiḥ kṛtaṃ sāma grahamadhye pratiṣṭhitaḥ | pratijñāte grahe'smākaṃ tato me bhayamāviśat

Translation

Daraufhin sprachen die Götter beschwichtigende Worte, und er blieb mitten in der Finsternis des Eklipsen stehen. Doch als das über uns kommende Verfinsternisereignis vereinbart und festgesetzt war, ergriff mich die Furcht.
