गंगोवाच । अपि दौर्भाग्ययुक्ताऽहं भार्या जाताऽस्मि शूलिनः । तस्मादेकं दिनं देहि क्रीडनार्थमनेन तु
gaṃgovāca | api daurbhāgyayuktā'haṃ bhāryā jātā'smi śūlinaḥ | tasmādekaṃ dinaṃ dehi krīḍanārthamanena tu
Gaṅgā sprach: „Obwohl ich vom Unglück gezeichnet bin, bin ich zur Gattin des Dreizacktragenden Herrn geworden. Darum gewähre mir nur einen einzigen Tag, damit ich mit Ihm spielen und mich erfreuen darf.“
