Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 193

एवमुक्तास्ततः सर्वे कामाद्यास्ते द्रुतं ययुः । मर्त्यलोके महाराज रक्षां चक्रुश्च सर्वशः

evamuktāstataḥ sarve kāmādyāste drutaṃ yayuḥ | martyaloke mahārāja rakṣāṃ cakruśca sarvaśaḥ

So angesprochen, eilten alle jene, beginnend mit Kāma (dem Begehren), sogleich davon. In der Welt der Sterblichen, o großer König, errichteten sie überall ihre „Wache“ und breiteten ihren Einfluss nach allen Seiten aus.
