अथ दृष्ट्वा तदा दूतं स्तंभितं मुद्गलेन तु । वधार्थं तूद्यतस्तस्य स वज्रं भ्रामयंस्तदा
atha dṛṣṭvā tadā dūtaṃ staṃbhitaṃ mudgalena tu | vadhārthaṃ tūdyatastasya sa vajraṃ bhrāmayaṃstadā
Da sah Indra den Boten, von Mudgala reglos gebannt, und erhob sich in Tötungsabsicht; in eben jenem Augenblick schwang und wirbelte er seinen Vajra, den heiligen Donnerkeil.
