Transliteration

śuklapakṣe caturddaśyāṃ jāgaraṃ tasya cāgrataḥ | yaḥ karoti nirāhāraḥ sa putraṃ labhate dhuvam

Translation

Am vierzehnten Mondtag der hellen Monatshälfte erlangt, wer vor Ihm wachend verweilt und ohne Speise fastet, gewiss einen Sohn.
