बाष्कलिरुवाच । गच्छ दूतवर ब्रूहि श्रीमातां चारुहासिनीम् । भार्या मे भव सुश्रोणि अहं ते वशगः सदा
bāṣkaliruvāca | gaccha dūtavara brūhi śrīmātāṃ cāruhāsinīm | bhāryā me bhava suśroṇi ahaṃ te vaśagaḥ sadā
Bāṣkali sprach: „Geh, du bester Bote, und sage Śrīmātā mit dem holden Lächeln: ‚Werde meine Gemahlin, o du Schönhüftige; ich werde stets unter deiner Herrschaft stehen.‘“
